Birth in 2020 - Dallas Fort Worth Birth Photography

Oh 2020.... you will definitely be a year to remember. While there were a handful of not so great things, it was a year filled with some pretty awesome things too. Welcoming and celebrating new life was a much needed blessing, a reminder that our world is filled with light and love. 

In 2020 I had plans to attend 50 births, my busiest year as a birth photographer! Even with all the obstacles 2020 brought, I was thankful for the privilege of photographing 41 births spanning the Dallas Fort Worth area. Hospital, birth center and home, my amazing clients birthed their babies with such strength, beauty and perseverance. In addition to the births I was able to attend, I also had the opportunity to work with 9 families in more creative ways to document their journey. For some that meant sending my camera with their birth doula, others it was editing pics nurses were kind enough to take. I did some adorable sibling meeting sessions and got to meet several babies once they were a bit older.
